Wow. Now & then a "dark ambient" album comes by that instantly captures your imagination totally. For example: Lustmord's Black Stars, Time Machines' eponymous album, and this. There's something literally magical about this, when I listen to it, I feel like I've been placed under some kind of spell, it grabs & holds you from start to end. Maybe it's something about the melancholic, mysterious chordal modes, maybe how the music flows over you & envelopes you in its dark, warm embrace. Spooky!

Works that hypnotize! It's unbelievable how you can create such a mood. Absolutely great! Pär- and Åsa Boström are by far my favorites in DarkAmbient. I love you and all of your projects, not just Hymnambulae! ..my girlfriend loves it as much as i do, and it often accompanies us on our evening-hours together! ...please keep it up forever!

2024 is starting slow for me: after some catching up, I mainly listened to ambient for the majority of this January. Star Lore is a great addition and discovery, once again being brought to my attention by Ernie Fleetenkieker. Even after having found a favourite track, this album ov enchanting, slightly bemused, wintery ambience is best enjoyed as whole. A great addition to your collection and formidable soundtrack for a secluded stroll through the snowfall. Enchanting from start to finish!
